The teaching team members from America were in India from January 11 through January 23. During that time, we were indeed fortunate to be hosted by John Lund, Dr. Sarah Walter and others who assured that we got to see as much of India as possible in our free time. We shopped (with assistance from natives who could bargain for us), visited the Taj Mahal and the Gandhi Memorial, and ate in local restaurants serving true Indian cuisine. Dr. Rae, JP, and Barbara all had the opportunity to purchase fabrics and have tailors craft clothes for us. We traveled many miles in the Palliative Care Team's van to make a visit a village where we made a home visit. We went by van to the Taj Mahal - a trip of over three hours one way.
On this page, we share some of the pictures we took during our travels.

Scenes from India
Here we share some of our favorite pictures of India. As travelers from the other side of the world, we were often amazed, frequently touched, and always eager to experience the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of a culture quite different from our own.
